We joined Greater Center Star this year to lift the spirits of the cities’ elderly. The children and the adults that escorted them enjoyed the time spent bringing cheer, even if it was this one day of the year.
Today we ventured to Cordova, Tn with member’s from New Birth, Greater Center Star, Second Baptist, Main Street NLR and First Liberty Hill to enjoy The Singing Christmas Tree. This year’s presentation, 1941: A Christmas in Memphis, featured an original story and music; the signature 44-foot Christmas tree; over 100,000 lights; a cast, choir, and orchestra of over 500; and a Broadway- worthy performance. This year’s presentation told an uplifting story of hope and vividly brought to life the miracle of our Savior’s birth and its impact on our lives today.
