Today we ventured to Cordova, Tn with member’s from New Birth, Greater Center Star, Second Baptist, Main Street NLR and First Liberty Hill to enjoy The Singing Christmas Tree. This year’s presentation, 1941: A Christmas in Memphis, featured an original story and music; the signature 44-foot Christmas tree; over 100,000 lights; a cast, choir, and orchestra of over 500; and a Broadway- worthy performance. This year’s presentation told an uplifting story of hope and vividly brought to life the miracle of our Savior’s birth and its impact on our lives today.
31 of us ventured to DeGray Lake Cottages in Bismarck, AR. The kids spent the weekend fishing, boating and a host of other activities. The facilities were cozy and immaculate. We finalized the trip with service at St Paul AME.
Were back from Florida and we are about to rap up our watermelon sales. Today we are on our way to Crenshaw Springs (White Hall) Water Park to cool off. The children passed out 700 (20 Cases) bottles of water as a Thank You to the Citizens of Little Rock, AR for the generosity and support.
Have A Blessed Day!
Our children did an awesome job preparing for the journey of a life time. I am so proud of them, they did not sit idly by and wait on a handout. They applied themselves and did what was needed to ensure that the plan to go to Disney World would come to fruition. Thanks to all of our sponsors, parents, and well wishers. Keep on praying with us and for us. Take it from us God is still in the Miracle Working Business!
Our third trip to the woods. 84 of us had a great time, next year Disney World.
Our maiden voyage. We shared the facility with a tri-state congregation, all told 150+ campers. We had an awesome time…
